DataCamp announced it has completed the acquisition of Dubai-based Optima, an AI-native learning platform that adapts lessons in real time to each learner. Optima founder and CEO Yusuf Saber joins DataCamp as Chief AI Officer, with the team integrating into DataCamp and leading global AI operations from the UAE. The deal comes amid strong momentum for DataCamp, which is cashflow positive and expects to surpass $100M ARR in 2026. Optima’s technology is already powering parts of DataCamp’s curriculum; broader integration will roll out over the next six months. DataCamp reports a base of 18M learners and 6,000 B2B customers, including global brands across tech, finance, manufacturing, retail, and pharma.
