C.Scale has raised $2 million in pre-seed funding to connect supply and demand in the fragmented, $1 trillion building materials market while accelerating the shift to low-carbon construction. The round was co-led by Active Impact Investments and Wireframe Ventures. The funding accelerates C.Scale's AI/ML-powered platform that connects building product manufacturers directly with designers at the point of specification. The platform gives project teams the right data at the right time to simplify selection of high-performance products, utilizing building life cycle assessment and an AI/ML toolkit to evaluate impacts from early stages. For manufacturers, C.Scale offers high-quality leads by tracking material quantities and carbon requirements from early phases, while providing visibility through construction. Early traction includes hundreds of enterprise customers modeling over 1,200 projects representing more than 120 million square feet of construction; integrations include Autodesk and Schneider Electric, and a Stanford University pilot. About C.Scale: A Public Benefit Corporation based in San Francisco, spun out of EHDD in 2024, combining building industry expertise with advanced data science.
